Historic Barn Conference 
Coming to the Kutztown University Campus, Kutztown, PA.
 
June 5-7, 2008

The National Barn Alliance is pleased to be co-hosting with the Historic Barn and Farm Foundation of Pennsylvania a Barn Conference at Berks County in the Heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  The three-day event will feature great old Pennsylvania barns and the people who tell their stories.  Be part of this exciting event.

· Thursday, June 5 - Welcome reception at the PA German Cultural Heritage Center, Kutztown.

·  Friday, June 6 - Two tracks of Workshops and speakers on historic barns, plus keynote address on KU’s campus.

Filmmaker Kurt Kolaja's new one-hour documentary Charlie Obert's Barn will be shown after Friday's dinner. This is the heartwarming story of Kolaja's saving of his family's NW Pennsylvania barn and converting it to his home on Chesapeake Bay. Please visit www.charlieobertsbarn.com

·  Saturday, June 7 - Bus tour  visiting Oley Valley historic barns with tour guide Bob Ensminger, author of The Pennsylvania Barn  and other prominent historic barn authorities.
